Insurance may or may not cover seeing a dietitian. The best way to find out is to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about coverage for seeing a dietitian. If they ask for CPT codes, provide 97802 and 97803. Our most commonly used diagnosis code is Z71.3.

We are required to charge you our usual and customary rate when providing a superbill, which is a higher rate than our self pay price.

We will always attempt to bill your insurance if our provider is in network with your insurance. If they do not cover, you will be responsible for the cost of the session.

Currently, all of our providers are in-network with BCBS. Kyla is also in network with United Healthcare. All other insurance carriers have told us their network is closed to dietitians at this time. We periodically check with other carriers to attempt network status.
