Food Service Work | 60 hours

As part of my Quantity Food Production coursework, I completed 60 hours working in the kitchen at a long term care facility. I completed the following tasks during my time at the Courtyard Healthcare Center in Davis, CA:

  • Cooked meals for 100 patients
  • Made purees for patients on National Dysphagia Diet
  • Assisted with receiving
  • Worked on tray line
  • Input dietary preferences on tray cards
  • Followed proper food safety guidelines
  • Performed kitchen inspection
  • Shadowed both RD and dietary manager
